Scheduling Stream on Youtube

1. Go to Youtube.com. Sign into the Youtube channel being used (This should automatically occur if using the WCPA Youtube channel in either Chrome or Edge)

2. Click on the profile icon in the top right. Scroll down and click “Youtube Studio” to go to the channel dashboard.

3. Click the “Go Live” icon (looks like a sideways wifi signal) in the top right to open the Livestream Management page.

4. Click “Schedule Stream” in the top right and in the pop-up window, click “Create New”

   • Enter a title and choose a viewing option (Public, Unlisted, or Private)

   • Add a description for the event and select a category from the drop down menu (“entertainment” is recommended)

   • Select the date and time of the broadcast and upload a custom thumbnail

   • Choose “No, it’s not made for kids”

   • Click “Create Stream”

5. You should now see the created stream listed under “Upcoming”. Click the event and you will see the Event Management screen. Leave this open while you proceed to Wirecast.
